Friends of Oakhill was formed in 2005 as a public interest group. The group work in partnership with ERYC Countryside Access Team to provide access for the public to Oakhill Nature and Wildlife Reserve. The group host a diverse number of events (details on Events page) designed to raise awareness of this valuable green space to both the local and regional community. The Friends of Oakhill helped found and continue to support the ERYC Volunteer Rangers program in which many members participate, providing valuable support to the public and also help carry out important conservation works around the site.

Please click the links above and below to find more information on who we are and what we do, upcoming events, becoming a member, joining in with the conservation work, picture galleries & more.

The Friends of Oakhill are participating in two fundraising events on Saturday 5th December, one event is the Christmas Miracle on Aire Street, Goole, and the second event is at the Snaith and Cowick Christmas Market, Snaith.  Donations are urgently required, any unwanted gifts that you may have that have been pushed to the back of the cupboard and forgotten about, anything that you can give will enable us to raise funds for the upkeep and maintenance of the Oakhill Nature Reserve, whatever contribution you can make large or small will be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks

Jean Hitchcock, Members secretary
